“The actor is an athlete of the heart.” –ANTONIN ARTAUD, The Theatre and Its Double

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR CLASSES BEGINNING JUNE 22

Terry has designed this ongoing class for those with little or no acting experience, those returning to acting after an absence and those who’ve acted before – but not in front of a camera. Class size is limited, providing individualized attention for all.

  • Curriculum based on Stanislavsky’s Method approach to acting.
  • Training in relaxation and sense memory provides basis for honest, personal character development.
  • Students learn techniques which differentiate stage from film acting.
  • Special attention given to unique challenges of acting for a camera – where the camera crew is the audience and performances may need to be repeated over multiple takes.
  • Practice in cold reading to ensure successful on-camera auditions.
  • Monologue technique
  • Script analysis
